Account Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced account manager to join the team at one of the North West’s leading and fastest growing full service digital, marketing and PR agencies in Preston, Lancashire. We were voted Best Small Agency at the Northern Marketing Awards 2018.

 

We work for a fantastic roster of clients, across a wide variety of sectors, and the successful candidate will be responsible for the management and growth of a number of these clients, providing strategy and direction, as well as implementation and media liaison. It's a fast paced role, managing multiple tasks and teams across all departments, whilst maintaining outstanding levels of attention to detail and service for our clients and their campaigns.

Essential Skills:


  • Outstanding strategic thinking

  • A real passion for digital technology and social media platforms and techniques
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
  • Good knowledge of various media channels, marketing techniques and industries
  • Understanding of client business issues and requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including spelling and grammar
  • A minimum of three years’ experience
  • Relevant degree (marketing, communications etc)

Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Managing multiple client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention and account development
  • Daily client liaison, taking briefs and managing creative teams
  • Providing quotations and estimates for client projects
  • Monitoring and tracking of budgets
  • Attendance at client meetings
  • Report writing, proof reading and copywriting
  • Leading new business pitches, and inputting into proposals and presentations
  • Time management and planning

It would also be preferable to have B2B and B2C experience working in an agency or big brand environment.
