'Trailer-blazing' at the Speedy Expo

When the highly anticipated Speedy Expo 2016 was in the planning stages, the company's marketing team needed a bespoke roadshow trailer to bring their Intelligent Safety programme to life.

Speedy Services is one of the UK's leading hire equipment providers and its annual expo is an opportunity for customers to view the very latest range of innovative products from more than 120 different suppliers including big name brands such as JCB, Milwaukee and Bosch.

For this year's event, the marketing team needed to provide an exciting space for delegates to find out more about the four main workplace hazards - dust, hand arm vibration, working at height and noise.

Firstly, ICG's design team produced a range of striking creative for the van's exterior vinyl panels to promote different elements of the programme.

Inside, the van was kitted out with the latest gizmos and gadgets, including a 60 inch flat screen television which played an animated showreel created by ICG's digital team providing detailed information about the programme.

ICG's Designer Stephen Taylor and Commercial Director Peter Cobley went along to the Speedy Expo at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool earlier this month to see the team's handy work in situ. The trailer was pulled by a top-of-the-range Ford Ranger and was a big hit with everyone! Plans are already in the pipeline to use it for future events and exhibitions.
